Coming from the sandiest area of the Finca Los Hoyales vineyard, Cruz of Alba Reserve is an elegant and silky Tempranillo with a modern cut. Balanced and complex, it represents the essence of a new style in the Ribera del Duero.
VINIFICATION
After fermentation at a controlled temperature, this wine remained in French oak barrels for 20 months, using the system of thirds: 1/3 new barrels, 1/3 in one-year barrels, and 1/3 in second-year barrels. Subsequently it remained resting for several months in the bottle before going on the market.
