VINIFICATION
The grapes come from organically farmed sites of Terra Alta in southwestern Catalonia with high percentages of clay or gypsum and limestone. In the dry climate, which is also hot in summer, cooling winds from the north and the Mediterranean allow wines with juicy fruit and mineral freshness. Selective harvest by hand. Joint fermentation of red and white grapes with vineyard yeasts.
TASTING NOTE
Bright red fruit of such mild, gentle goodness, strawberry, cherry, meets or is virtually challenged by the mineral, herbaceous inner tension and restlessness.
