The Mas Martinet winery was founded in 2000 and is today one of the most renowned wineries in the Priorat.
VINIFICATION
The grapes used for Martinet Bru comes from the Mas Torrent estate, located in the area of Masos de Falset and owned by the winery. This property stands out for its slate soils, stony and fresh. Martinet Bru is fermented in wood with its lees and washed carefully. These processes are carried out throughout the fermentation. Martinet Bru ages, after these processes of winemaking, in 4000 litre vats (66% of the total) and in barrels of 300 litres of new or nearly new French oak. Martinet Bru is bottled without going through any clarification.
TASTING NOTE
Martinet Bru 2019 is a red wine with a rich nose of aromas of forest fruits accompanied by mineral nuances, cherries in liqueur and hints of liquorice. On the palate it is fresh and pleasant. An intense, balanced and flavoursome wine, with all the personality that makes it a worthy representative of the Priorat.
