Sospechoso Tinto is vinified by the prestigious oenologist Marcos Eguren (Sierra Cantabria, San Vicente, Viñedos del Páganos and Teso la Monja). An original red wine, fruity, friendly and easy to drink, made in the area of Manchuela (Vino de la tierra de Castilla) with a coupage of Tempranillo and Tinta de Toro grapes.
VINIFICATION
Sourced from old Tempranillo vines from Manchuela producing low yields and from younger Tinta de Toro vines from Toro. It has fermented at controlled temperature between 28 y 30ºC in Stainless Steel Vats (75%) and in French oak barrels (25%). It has aged during 6 months in Stainless Steel Vats followed by another 6 months in 225 lt. French and American oak barrels.
TASTING NOTE
Intense cherry red colour with ruby reflections. Nose: mineral aromas combined with red and black fruits. Palate: fruity, kind and with sweet tannins.
