With Viña Magna Reserva we are able to offer a representative of Spain’s highest quality red wines: red Tempranillo from very old vines located in one of Spain’s most prestigious winemaking regions like Ribera del Duero.
VINIFICATION
Grapes coming from our oldest vineyards (+80 years old). Harvest by hand in 12-kilo crates. Sorting table at the reception. Elaborated by gravity in order to keep the maximum level of the organoleptic properties of the wine. Spontaneous alcoholic fermentation with autochthonous yeasts and with temperature control. Complete malolactic fermentation in new French oak barrels.
TASTING NOTE
Well-balanced, with structured and silky tannins. Intense retronasal with hints of blackberries, plumbs, milky coffee and pipe tobacco. Ripe black and red fruit aromas (blackcurrant, blackberry, cherry) harmoniously combined with elegant mocha and vanilla typical of the time spent in new barrel. By oxygenating appear spicy balsamic and clove backgrounds, which give as a result a distinctive character wine.
FOOD PAIRING
Ideal to pair with grilled red meat and game meat (deer, boar and roe deer). Feathered-game meat with complex and very spiced sauces and cured sheep cheese.
